Pumpkins and mums and gourds, oh my! Fall has finally arrived and has never looked better. Is it just me or are the pumpkins way more diverse this year? The days of pumpkin patches filled with basic orange pumpkins seem to be gone and it appears that unique, crazy looking pumpkins are all the rage. Purple, green, pink, white and warty, they all boast different shapes, sizes and finishes. I can’t even begin to fathom what I’ll see next. Some of them even look like crosses between butternut squashes and pumpkins; I wonder how they taste! Fortunately, I managed to find some traditional orange pumpkins to make jack-o-lanterns out of and some pretty mums for the front porch!
