Autumn at Arkwright

IMG_0686IMG_0690IMG_0681IMG_0684IMG_0680IMG_0689IMG_0679IMG_0682IMG_0683I’m obsessed with bridges: trestles, covered bridges, wire bridges, you name it, I love it. The older the bridge, the better. I always knew that the Arkwright Bridge, now closed to traffic, existed somewhere in the Rhode Island area, but I never realized that it was on the border of my own town, fittingly, a border that I never go near. Walking over and exploring new bridges is so exciting to me. They give you a unique vantage point; you can look straight down the path of a river without getting wet which also means that you can wear suede! I paired this adorable mauve suede moto-jacket with jeans and fringe booties. The jacket is so cute! Definitely on the edgier side, but I love it. Adding pieces of different styles to your wardrobe keeps you on your feet and versatile. While the jacket is very edgy, it’s still very me (it’s pink!) and definitely plays into certain parts of my personality.  I love pulling out something unexpected, and this jacket does just that.
